Well, the day is finally here and I'm already pretty excited for my first flight in this 3 month journey!! This is my first post and apart from spending way to much time finding this corny blog layout, I'll give you the gist of my backpacking trip by stating my destinations:

Clearly, an ambitious list. I am extremely excited for it to begin! I'm going to try and update as much as possible, or wherever I can snag myself some wifi. I'll hopefully keep you all from getting bored by posting pictures, thoughts and whatever else I feel is relevant to share with my friends and family in regards to my travels. One other thing I wanted to do with this blog is incorporate a musical playlist with each post (hopefully each post). As many of you know, I'm a big fan of all types of music and I saw some other travels blogs that did it, so thought I'd give it a shot. In order to break in this first post, here are a few pics from right before I left, a little random but a good start nonetheless. Thanks for reading and I'll post again once I'm in Japan!!
